Where we are

Laura Children’s Home is located in Bomet County, the former Rift Valley Province bordering Kericho County to the North / North East, Nyamira County to the North West, Narok County to the South.

Access to basic quality services such as health care, education, clean water and sanitation, is often a luxury for many people (46% of population live below the poverty line, source Unicef).

In Bomet County, children under 18 make up 57% of the population and many still face difficulties that might have an impact on their growth and development.

Additionally, HIV / AIDS has affected many people, increasing the number of orphans and overstretching the capacity of families to care and protect them.
